Si Pelit dan Dermawan

Pada jaman dahulu, hiduplah dua bersaudara. Mereka memiliki sifat yang sangat berbeda. Kakaknya sangat pelit dan serakah sedangkan adiknya sangat murah hati dan baik kepada orang miskin.

Pada suatu hari, saudara dermawan sedang duduk di tamannya tiba-tiba seekor burung yang terluka jatuh di pangkuannya. Lalu dia merawat dan memberinya makan. Setelah burung itu sehat, suadara dermawan lalu melepaskannya. Setelah beberapa waktu burung itu kembali dan memberinya sebuah bibit semangka.

Saudara dermawan lalu menanam bibit itu dan merawatnya hingga tumbuh besar. Tetapi tanaman itu aneh karena hanya memiliki satu buah yang besar. Ketika semangka itu matang, saudara dermawan mengambilnya dan memotongnya menjadi dua. Dia sangat terkejut semangka itu penuh dengan emas.

The Stingy and The Generous

            Once Upon a time. There live tow brothers. They have a different characters. The big Brother was very stingy and greedy whereas the little brother was very generous and kind to poor people.

            One day, generous brother was sitting in his garden when suddenly a wounded bird feel on his lap. Then he care of it and fed it. When the bird was healthy, the generous brother releasing it. After some time the birds returne to him and gave him a watermelon seeds.

           

            The generous brother then planted the seeds and care of it until it grew. But the plant was very strange because just have one big fruit. When the watermelon was ripe. The generous brother picked it and cut it into two. He was very surprised the watermelon was full of gold.

           

            The generous brother then sold the gold and became very rich. He built a big house and bought a very large field. Still, he never forgot to shared his wealth with poor people.
